Super Excited!!!!

Ahhhh! Craziness!!!! Our Clay had his surgery on April 8th, and it took every bit of two weeks to get our happy go lucky kiddo back to his old self! And that was a looonnng 14 days! But!!!! We went to the Audiologist yesterday afternoon, and Clay took yet another hearing exam, and it was NORMAL! That is a word I have prayed to hear! So, tonsils and adenoids out, tubes in, normal hearing! Yippie!!!!

Our girl Sarah has discovered she loves track, and is having a blast! So we have been to and from track meets and practice, but it's all so so worth that smile!

Joe is ready to play in the dirt! He's been working on tractors and planters, and we're just waiting for it to dry up a bit.... then we'll eat many a meal on the tailgate of a pick-up, so we can all hang out together, which I don't mind one bit!!!! Over the years, I've gotten pretty good at preparing a meal that "will travel"!

Miss Taylor had her 8th birthday!!! No more car seat! How exciting is that!!!! She's such a sweet kiddo... makes my heart smile every single day!!!

We're all getting a lil antsy for..... SUMMER BREAK~ Oh, we can't wait!!!! We'll be wrapping up our school year soon, although not soon enough for The Richey's! We have some exciting things happening and can't wait to dive in! Our garden needs some major TLC at the moment, and I'm excited to get my veggies in the ground! And finally, after what seems like forever, we are getting our pool!!!! YaY!!! Oh, we also have new baby kitties, which Momma cat still has stashed in the barn... can't wait to see them! And, I have learned something about myself.... I have an obsession for cleaning, and that obsession has cost us a new bathroom sink, and my very patient and forgiving hubby to bust out his plumbing skills! Yes, it was quite a disaster! I decided Joes sink was draining a lil slow for my liking, so I decided to heat a pot of water on the stove and pour it down his sink... worked great! So then..... I decided I'd do my sink, just for good measure, and snap, crackle, pop! My sink cracked, the pipe came flying off my sink underneath, with scorching hot water flowing from it, and I said a very bad word! But after the help of 4 hot pads, an ice cream bucket, and 2 super large bath towels, my mess was cleaned up! Then.... I had to make the call.... to Joe.... thank God that man loves me! The very next day, I had a beautiful shiny new sink installed, and he didn't say a word other than, "honey, don't worry about it"! Whew~ Think I'll stick to dusting and vacuuming for now!
