New year... new me!

So! It's been quite a whirlwind since my last post! All is well, hectic, but well! The family has been healthy (literally, knock on wood), and winter has definitely set in here at Richey Ranch! We spend lotsa time together during the winters, so Momma Bear loves that! We've been playing Dominos with the kiddos every night before bed, and we all look forward to that each evening! Weve been having some supa yummy suppas as well, and much much healthier than in year's past. My 3 besties and I decided this is our year to get healthy, soooo...... yep, that's right.... D I E T . . . It's not nearly as difficult as I expected it to be, although if an old lady walked past me with a piece of Dove chocolate, I'd tackle her for it! Not really... well, most likely not.... anyway, we've all done great so far! I lost 12 lbs my first week, and I was thrilled! Then I decided I deserved a night out with my supa cutie patootie hubby, so I ate Mexican (eeek! Lotsa calories there lemme tell ya!) But well worth it!! We're all ,not very patiently, awaiting our first big snow! That's right, I said it! And we're dreading the dirty word... taxes... blah! But it must be done! Soon my table (thats 9' long) will be covered in receipts and invoices... ack! We're thinking of trading in my 'run around car' for something a lil more kid friendly, but I hate spending that moolah! We need something 5 kiddos can bail in and out of a lil easier... no, I didn't inherit two more littles, they belong to my brother and sister in law, and we are all together 5 days a week, so it's a must! Just not sure what to buy... I can't come to terms with the fact we NEED  A MINI VAN .... I still think I'm 25 ya know. Our lil Clay has been having some issues.... breaks my heart. He's been having trouble with his ears for a couple years now, and we finally got someone to listen to us! So, Monday, he had a pretty extensive hearing test,  and didn't do so hot. Now were waiting to see a specialist at Childrens and I'm a nervous nelly. I always clean when I worry, so my house is in tip top shape at the moment! So any prayers would be welcomed for our lil guy, that something can be done, and the damage isn't too severe. I'll keep y'all updated on this. I hope everyone is toasty warm!! Xoxo
